March 9, 2007 Workshop to help new IMGs entering family medicine programs
International medical graduates (IMGs) who have matched with a family medicine residency program for 2007 are invited to sign up for a 2-day workshop on adjusting to the US medical system, developing critical communications skills, and getting acclimated to the principles of family medicine. Sponsored by the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine, the Entering Resident Academy will be held May 19-20 in Houston and Philadelphia.
